Initial adhesion is a core indicator deciding sticking performance and finished product yield of pressure-sensitive adhesive and self-adhesive labels. During quality control of labels, protective films and double-sided tapes, conventional ball tack test suffers high data deviation caused by ambient condition and manual operation. Complying with GB/T31125-2014, FINAT FTM-9 and ASTM D6195, the Ring Tack Tester has become mainstream testing equipment for incoming material inspection, formulation development and finished-product delivery check in label manufacturers.
Based on ring-loop test principle, the tester clamps adhesive tape into annular specimen. Servo motor runs at standard 300mm/min speed to press sample onto standard test plate and peel back at identical speed. High-precision load cell automatically captures peak peeling force to quantify initial adhesion value, eliminating human-caused test error and ensuring excellent repeatability.

It fits various products including self-adhesive labels, daily chemical stickers, PET protective films, foam double-sided tapes and medical adhesive patches, suitable for small-scale label factories and third-party testing labs. Two models available: desktop microcomputer version and PC-connected version. PC model generates test curves and bilingual inspection reports automatically. OEM service and customized fixtures/test panels (stainless steel, acrylic etc.) are available to meet diverse testing requirements of different label materials.
