Most common screen defects occurring during production and after-sales service, such as bubbling, edge warping, delamination and unresponsive touch, stem from substandard OCA performance. Insufficient adhesion will lead to debonding and dust ingress during long-term service, ruining visual experience. Excessively strong adhesion, on the other hand, may damage screen glass and touch layers during disassembly and maintenance, resulting in screen scrappage and stubborn adhesive residue that increases cleaning difficulty and after-sales costs. Therefore, the peel test is essential for screening qualified OCA tapes and eliminating product defects at the source.
